Accepting an imperfect person by learning to deal with his imperfections through gentle and constant rebuking is laudable. But if it is only to the point of being indifferent about it, to a certain extent is dangerous (depending on what kind of imperfection it is) as it is the same as "if you can't fight them, then join them"...
How to see an imperfect person perfectly? This sentence is 'meaningless'. To love someone perfectly is this: see that the person saves his soul. In order to help him save his soul, share with him the perfect Truth of the Catholic faith. Deo gratias.
