Being imperfect does not mean to remain in that state because with God's grace, we can be perfect as God is. Why? Because that is the only way to reach Heaven.
How does one become perfect? I don't think I'll ever become one...in reality, I think it's beyond human comprehension...there's a saying that says 'Beauty is only in the eyes of the beholder'...so I think 'Perfection' can be applied in the same context, except this time it is 'in the eyes of the Almighty One'...
